Nestled in the heart of Tarangire National Park, Ang’ata Tarangire Camp is an oasis of luxury and wilderness that opened its doors in 2016. This camp lies in a prime spot overlooking the Tarangire River, offering guests an immersive experience in one of Africa’s most spectacular natural environments. Just 5 kilometers from the Silale Swamp Plains, a known grazing ground for thousands of elephants, the camp provides not only stunning views but also a front-row seat to the park’s vibrant wildlife, including big cats, tree-climbing pythons, and elusive oryx.

The camp’s design embodies the spirit of the bush, featuring eight guest tents, including two family units, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms that offer showers, flush toilets, and vanity desks. Guests can choose from king-size, twin, or triple bed configurations, ensuring comfort for all. The communal areas include a lounge for sharing safari tales over a cup of Tanzanian coffee or tea and a dining tent where gourmet meals are served, prepared fresh daily by the camp’s chefs. The experience is rounded off with the traditional “Bush TV” – a campfire where guests can enjoy the night sky and the sounds of the African wilderness.

Ang’ata Tarangire Camp is strategically positioned within Tarangire National Park, just one kilometer from the Kuro Airstrip, making it easily accessible for both air and road safaris. The camp’s coordinates, 3°59’18.51″S, 36° 3’8.80″E, place it in an area renowned for its diverse ecosystems, from the lush riverbanks to the vast grasslands.
