Day 01 | Zanzibar – Dar Es Salaam – Mikumi Take a morning flight from Zanzibar at 09.10 hrs in the morning and fly to Dar es Salaam arriving at 09.40 hrs.Pick up by your safari driver from Dar es Salaam you will start on your drive to Mikumi National Park along the Dar es Salaam – Morogoro highway. Day 2 | Full day Mikumi National Park Spend this full day with game drives around the Mikumi National Park with a packed lunch or do morning and afternoon game drives with a lunch break at the lodge/tented camp. Mikumi National Park is part of the larger Selous Ecosystem together with the Selous Game Reserve and harbors remarkable numbers of bird’s species and animals. Detailed Itinerary This 6-day Migration Safari promises not just a journey through the wild, but a profound connection with the wonders of nature. Join us for an expedition that will leave you with lasting memories of Tanzania’s unparalleled wildlife and landscapes. Day 01 | Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park The first day of your wildebeests Migration safari in Tanzania and this day you will be picked form your lodge/hotel at Arusha town and drive to Lake Manyara for game drives. Lake Manyara is a nice small park which lush green almost through out the year with a variety of animals to be spotted in the park. Day 02 | Karatu – Northern Serengeti National Park Early breakfast then drive across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enter Serengeti national park through Naabi Hill Gate. We will continue with game drives at in the end less plains of Serengeti until late in the afternoon when we retire to the lodge fr dinner and overnight. Overnight will be at Serengeti Mara Heritage Camp or similar. All meals included. Day 03 | Two more days Northern Serengeti National Park These two days will be spent doing game drives in Northern Serengeti areas including the Lobo area, the Bologonja areas and the Kogatende areas including a visit to the Mara River Banks on the Tanzanian sides to try and see the River crossing of the Wildebeests migration herds accompanied by some zebras and gazelles. During this time also many predators and big cats follow the animals to this area and so it is likely to see some spectacular wildlife actions like hunting. Overnight will be at Serengeti Mara Heritage Camp or similar. All meals included. Day 04 | Cross Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast in the morning we drive back slowly through the Central Serengeti with game viewing on the way until Naabi Hill Gate where we check out of the Serengeti National Park. We will drive then to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. You will have a chance to visit the Olduvai Gorge or Maasai Village (at extra costs) if you wish. Dinner and overnight will be at Rhino Lodge or midrange lodge at Karatu nearby. All meals included Day 05 | Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Back to Arusha Very early morning we drive down the Ngorongoro Crater walls to the Crater floor where we will spend the better part of the day doing game drives in this 8th wonder of the world also referred to as the Eden of Africa. Here we will get the chance to spot the animals that we might have missed at Serengeti and Lake Manyara and with a little luck you can spot the Big 5 of; Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes and Rhinos, in a single day’s game drive. Day 02 | Arusha – Tarangire National Park After breakfast, drive to Tarangire national park  in the afternoon, we will have a game drive where you can see giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland. This park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and September. It is during this period that thousands of animals- wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, and onyx migrate from the dry masai steppe to the Tarangire river in search of water while the predators such as lion, and leopards Day 03 | Tarangire – SerengetiCenter /Serengeti Northern After Breakfast, We proceed to Serengeti National Park passing Ngorongoro. An afternoon game drive at Serengeti follows, home to more than 35 species of plain animals such as zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, among many others.The park is the staging zones for one the most spectacular events in the world- the annual migration of wildebeest. Day 04 | Serengeti Northen Full Day Today we will leave after breakfast for a full day game viewing with picnic lunch box. We will make our way towards the Northern part of the Serengeti National Park. Far from the beaten tourist track, the Northern Serengeti offers the unique opportunity to explore the fantastic Serengeti undisturbed. Day 05 | Serengeti Northrn / Serengeti Center After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The majority of the wildebeest migration normally passes through the Seronera in late November to middle November, when they migrate from Kenya’s Masai Mara in north to the Ndutu area in the south. The migration then passes through this area again in April when they move west to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park. The Seronera area is also an ideal starting to point to visit the eastern and southern short-grass plains of the Serengeti National Park. Day 06 | SerengetiCenter / Ngorongoro Crater Early Morning Game drive, after a breakfast, we will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Day 07 | Ngorongoro Crater After Breakfast, Early morning drive to NgorongoroCrater, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for full day game drive, afternoon ascend to the crater rim, The game drive begins with a 600m descent to the crater floor, a magnificent natural amphitheater. Covering 260 sq. km, the crater is an attraction in its own right and is one of the wonders of the natural world. The crater supports a year round resident population of a variety of wildlife and you can easily spot lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and other species of plain animals.
