Terms and Conditions 1. Booking and Reservation:1.1. To secure your reservation with FY African Safaris, a non-refundable deposit of 75% is required at the time of booking.1.2. The remaining balance of the total trip cost is due 7days prior to the scheduled safari start date. 2. Payment Methods:2.1. We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card.2.2. All payments must be made in USD. Any currency conversion fees or bank charges are the responsibility of the client. 3. Cancellation and Refunds:3.1. In case of cancellation by the client 20days or more before the safari start date, the deposit will be forfeited.3.2. If the client cancels 7days or less before the safari start date, no refund will be provided.3.3. FY African Safaris reserves the right to cancel the safari due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of all payments made will be issued to the client. 4. Changes to Itinerary:4.1. Changes to the safari itinerary requested by the client after booking may be subject to additional charges.4.2. FY African Safaris reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be notified of such changes as soon as possible. 5. Travel Insurance:5.1. Clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation.5.2. FY African Safaris is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate travel insurance. 6. Liability:6.1. FY African Safaris and its affiliates are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, and flight delays.6.2. Clients are responsible for following all local laws and regulations during the safari. 7. Health and Fitness:7.1. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically fit for the safari activities.7.2. Any medical conditions or dietary requirements must be communicated to FY African Safaris in advance. 8. Consent to Use Images:8.1. FY African Safaris may capture photos or videos during the safari for promotional purposes. By participating in the safari, clients grant permission for the use of such media. By proceeding with the booking, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions set forth by FY African Safaris.

Detailed Itinerary This safari promises unparalleled wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments in the heart of Africa’s untamed beauty. Day 01 | Arrival This day is set aside for your arrival into Tanzania and our representative meets you on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. He or she will transfer you to your lodge around Arusha either at Planet Lodge in Arusha town. Day 02 | Tarangire National Park After a long flight to Africa we usually recommend starting easy while also cutting down the distances and so after breakfast you will be picked up and transferred to Tarangire National Park in a 4×4 Safari jeep.  At Tarangire we register at the gate and continue with game drives for the rest of the day as we explore the African wilderness for the first day of our safari. Day 03 | Tarangire – Ndutu Plains/South Serengeti Breakfast at the lodge, or Camp early this morning and we are off to Ndutu plains for the migration safari in Southern Serengeti. We will have a brief stop at the Loduare Main Gate before entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, an another brief stop to take pictures and get some stunning views over the Ngorongoro Crater floor. We will then drive further to Lake Ndutu area where the action takes place during the months of December through March. Picnic will be served and the afternoon will be spent doing game drives until later in the afternoon time to check in at the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight. Overnight Sero Tented Camp Ndutu . All meals included. Day 04 & 05 | Ndutu Plains Calving Safari These 2 more days will be spent at the Ndutu plains within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ndutu plains is where it all happens in the month of January to March as the wildebeests Migration give birth to thousands of young calves every day. At Ndutu plains with the green pastures during this time of the year and the rich mineral soils that the herds adore you are sure to see the thousands of wildebeests accompanied by zebras, and gazelles spread along vast areas, as well as have the rare chance to witness some real wildlife action as the predators engage the herds and try to snatch their loved newly born foals.  Ndutu is also an amazing place to be for the avid bird watchers with 400 recorded resident and migratory bird species recorded. Overnight at Sero Tented  (Ndutu) Camp. All meals included. Day 06 | Ndutu – Serengeti National Park It is worthy visiting the Serengeti National Park having come this far. After breakfast at your lodge or camp we check out and drive a short distance to the Naabi Hill Gate where you will register and enter the Serengeti National Park for a day of game drives around the Central areas like Seronera Valley and around the Moru Kopjes. Later in the afternoon you will check in at the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Serengeti Heritage  Camp or similar. All meals included. Day 07 | Serengeti National Park Early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge or camp and drive backwards to the Ngorongoro Crater. We will register at the Naabi Hill Gate again and at the Seneto Gate then descend the 600 high walls of the Ngorongoro Crater to the floor of the Crater for a full day of Game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken Caldera in the world and a wonderful place to be with an estimated 20000 animals roaming such a small area of just about 21 Kilometers across. Day 08 | Ngorongoro – Arusha – Departure Breakfast at your lodge then you will drive back to Arusha where your safari ends. At Arusha you can be dropped at The Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure. Breakfast and Picnic lunch included. On the last day you can do Lake Manyara National Park or Arusha National Park if time allows and depending on your interests. At a small supplement. Day 01 | Arrival in Kilimanjaro This first day of your tour to Tanzania starts with arrival into Kilimanjaro International Airport where our Safari Manager will pick you up and transfer you in a private car to your lodge in round Arusha town with pre-safari briefing en route and on arrival.  Any outstanding payment will also be collected. Dinner and overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge. Dinner included Day 02 | Tarangire National Park On the second day of your tour, you will have breakfast in the morning and leave for Arusha town where you will do some shopping if you wish and also have a chance to change some money to get local currencies which may be useful in the lodges / tented camps, especially for tipping and paying extras. You will then drive to through the Masai steppe, and into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park.   Day 03 | Serengeti National Park You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast then we set off again further crossing Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, the land of the big cats and home to the famous Great Wildebeests Migration. We will stop briefly at Naabi Hill gate for registration then the rest of the day will be spent doing game drives in the endless plains. Game drives will go on until late in the afternoon when you will check in at Mbalageti Safari Camp / lodge rooms. All meals included. Day 04 | Full day at Serengeti Early morning game drive is a good option this day tosspot the nocturnal species and the diurnal ones as they rise for a new day. During the morning also many animals will easily be spotted by the tracks sides as they escape the morning dew, and the enjoy the songs of the rising birds. Day 05 | Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast at the camp we set off for Ngorongoro Conservation. On arrival we descend into the Crater floor for game drives for the rest of the day checking in at the lodge in the late afternoon by 6.00 PM. Ngorongoro Crater also called the Eden of Africa is the only place where you can spot the Big Five in one day with very little luck. Day 06 | Fly to Zanzibar After breakfast at the lodge you will spend some leisurely time at the lodge then check out by mid morning and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Along the way to the airstrip you will have the chance to do your last game viewing. On arrival at Zanzibar our Representative will pick you up from the Airport and transfer you to the Ocean Paradise Resort, at Kiwengwa Beach in the East Coast of the Island.  All meals included. Day 07 – 09 | Beach Stay at Zanzibar After your safari in Northern Tanzania it is now time to enjoy the beaches of Zanzibar and all what Zanzibar has to offer. Overnight at the Ocean Paradise Resort, Superior rooms, booked on half board basis; with breakfast and dinner included. In one of the days you we can arrange a tour in Zanzibar for you at extra cost. The most prominent tours are the Spice Island tour, The tour of Stonetown, Prison Island tour, The Dolphin tours or the  full day of ‘ The Safari Blue tour’. Day 10 | Departure Breakfast at the beach resort and with checkout at 10.00 Am you can stay around the beach resort till time to transfer to the Airport for your flight back home. Day 01 | Arrival in Kilimanjaro You will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport (arrival point) by our Representative who will help you with your luggage to the transfer car and take you to Planet Lodge or a similar lodge. At the lodge you will have a short briefing session with our safari Manger, then left to have dinner and relax. Dinner included. Day 02 | Tarangire National Park The tour starts with a drive to the third largest national Park in Tanzania and that is Tarangire. With a lunch box carried from Arusha you will have that chance to do game drives the whole day. This day will be spent on the Savannah plains in search of wild animals including zebras, elands, impalas, gazelles, and the rare species of Kudus. Large herds of elephants are also one of Tarangire highlights as well as the large baobab trees. Overnight will be at the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge with an amazing view over the Tarangire plains that draws hundreds of animals. All meals included. Day 03 | Tarangire to Serengeti National Park After an early morning breakfast you are off to Serengeti National park. Driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will enter the Serengeti via the Naabi Hill gate and go ahead with game viewing en route to the lodge or tented camp. If you are interested; you will have a brief stop at The Olduvai Gorge to witness the excavations of the Leakey’s family who discovered some human fossils of the Australopithecus Boisei, a discovery that led to the belief that indeed first man dwelt in Africa. Your overnight will be at Mbalageti Safari Camp / Lodge rooms. All meals included Day 04 | Two more days at Serengeti National Park Early morning game drive is a good option in these days to spot the nocturnal species and the diurnal ones as they rise for a new day. These days are spent at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day. Overnight at Mbalageti Safari Camp / Lodge rooms. All meals included. Day 05 | Serengeti – Ngorongoro After breakfast we drive back via the Naabi Hill gate to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival we will descend 600 mts down the Crater wall to the floor of the World’s greatest unbroken Caldera for a wonderful day of game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater is world renowned for the highest concentration of animals and it is here where you get the greatest chance of spotting the Big five in one day. A world biosphere reserve the Crater was declared a world heritage site by the United Nations body UNESCO. Among other animals you will see lions, cheetahs, zebras, warthogs, silver back jackals etc. Later in the afternoon before dark we drive to the Crater rim to check in at Country Lodge. All meals included. Day 06 | Back to Arusha If you like being active it is time to go for a nature walk in the Ngorongoro Crater forests guided by an armed ranger, or go for a dance with Masai people at their village while you learn something about their culture and traditions.  Depending on your schedule you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
