Arrival
You will be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged at an extra cost.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs
Depart Arusha after breakfast for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its massive elephant herds and towering ancient baobab trees. Follow the Tarangire River and explore landscapes rich in wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue game viewing in the afternoon. Later, transfer to your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Journey to Southern Serengeti – The Calving Grounds of Ndutu
After breakfast, drive toward the Southern Serengeti plains (Ndutu region), the heart of the wildebeest calving season from December to March. En route, enjoy game viewing as the scenery shifts from the Ngorongoro Highlands to the open Ndutu plains. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, then settle into your tented camp for dinner and overnight, ready for the remarkable wildlife experiences ahead.

Day 3: Wildebeest Calving Season
Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu region during one of nature’s most spectacular events—the synchronized birth of thousands of wildebeest calves. The abundance of new life draws predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, delivering dramatic wildlife action. Expert guides lead game drives across open plains and acacia woodlands, tracking the herds for optimal viewing. Return to camp for sundowners and dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Big Five Safari in a Natural Wonder
After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters into this UNESCO-listed caldera for a full day of game viewing. The crater floor offers some of Africa’s best opportunities to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, black rhino, buffalo, and leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside a hippo-filled lake. Later, ascend the crater rim and drive to your lodge near Karatu for the overnight.

Stop for a delicious farewell lunch at a local restaurant or lodge, then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or your hotel. This marks the end of your unforgettable wildebeest calving season safari.
