Detailed Itinerary Immerse yourself in diverse landscapes, from vast savannahs to lush forests, and enjoy luxury accommodations that complement the magic of your safari. This itinerary promises an unforgettable journey through some of Africa’s most iconic and pristine wilderness areas. Day 01 | Arrival in Kilimanjaro You will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport (arrival point) by our Representative who will help you with your luggage to the transfer car and take you to Planet Lodge or a similar lodge. At the lodge you will have a short briefing session with our safari Manger, then left to have dinner and relax. Dinner included. Day 02 | Tarangire National Park The tour starts with a drive to the third largest national Park in Tanzania and that is Tarangire. With a lunch box carried from Arusha you will have that chance to do game drives the whole day. This day will be spent on the Savannah plains in search of wild animals including zebras, elands, impalas, gazelles, and the rare species of Kudus. Large herds of elephants are also one of Tarangire highlights as well as the large baobab trees. Overnight will be at the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge with an amazing view over the Tarangire plains that draws hundreds of animals. All meals included. Day 03 | Tarangire to Serengeti National Park After an early morning breakfast you are off to Serengeti National park. Driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will enter the Serengeti via the Naabi Hill gate and go ahead with game viewing en route to the lodge or tented camp. If you are interested; you will have a brief stop at The Olduvai Gorge to witness the excavations of the Leakey’s family who discovered some human fossils of the Australopithecus Boisei, a discovery that led to the belief that indeed first man dwelt in Africa. Your overnight will be at Mbalageti Safari Camp / Lodge rooms. All meals included Day 04 | Two more days at Serengeti National Park Early morning game drive is a good option in these days to spot the nocturnal species and the diurnal ones as they rise for a new day. These days are spent at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day. Overnight at Mbalageti Safari Camp / Lodge rooms. All meals included. Day 05 | Serengeti – Ngorongoro After breakfast we drive back via the Naabi Hill gate to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival we will descend 600 mts down the Crater wall to the floor of the World’s greatest unbroken Caldera for a wonderful day of game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater is world renowned for the highest concentration of animals and it is here where you get the greatest chance of spotting the Big five in one day. A world biosphere reserve the Crater was declared a world heritage site by the United Nations body UNESCO. Among other animals you will see lions, cheetahs, zebras, warthogs, silver back jackals etc. Later in the afternoon before dark we drive to the Crater rim to check in at Country Lodge. All meals included. Day 06 | Back to Arusha If you like being active it is time to go for a nature walk in the Ngorongoro Crater forests guided by an armed ranger, or go for a dance with Masai people at their village while you learn something about their culture and traditions.  Depending on your schedule you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure. Day 01 | Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park Pick up from Arusha Airport early in the morning and drive further through the Masai Steppe to Makuyuni and over to the Tarangire National Park. The Fifth largest, of all parks in Tanzania the Tarangire National Park is dotted with amazingly big Baobab trees and the extraordinary large herds of elephants; Tarangire i s quite a place not to miss while on an African safari to Tanzania. The park is home to many animal species and some rare breeds like the Oryx and hirolas, and some rare birds species. Later in the afternoon we drive out of the park and transfer to Karatu where you will pitch camp at a lodge at Karatu. Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or Country Lodge at Karatu or similar. Picnic Lunch & Dinner included. Day 02 | Ngorongoro Crater After an early morning breakfast you descend into the Crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch on the crater Floor. Ngorongoro Crater is often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the Big Five can be spotted during one game drive only. Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or Country Lodge at Karatu or similar. All meals included. Day 03 | Lake Manyara – Arusha – Zanzibar Early morning breakfast (or carry a packed breakfast & lunch) and descend into the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. The name Manyara is a Masai word for the acacia tortillis tree species which the nomadic Masai people use to make hedges to protect their homesteads and livestock. The park is highlighted with lots of these trees and the tree climbing lions which are often spotted taking afternoon siesta on the branches. Other animals common in this park includes the impalas, giraffes buffaloes and impalas.Just at the entrance of this beautiful park is an underground water forest and a perfect habitat for the Blue monkeys, the baboons, bush bucks and the gigantic elephants sheltering in the sheds from the afternoon sun and devouring the green branches and twigs and herbs. Day 01 | Arrival Arusha On arrival we will meet you at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, and transfer you to Arusha where you will check in at the Ilboru Safari Lodge for overnight. Day 02 | Arusha – Fly to Serengeti Early this morning, you pick At Ilbouru Safari and you will be transfer  to the Arusha  Airport  where you will take a morning flight to the Serengeti National Park (departing at 09.30 Hrs arriving at 11.00 Hrs). On arrival by mid-morning you will be picked by our safari guide and your first game drive starts straightaway as soon as you leave the Airstrip in Seronera at Central Serengeti. You will have a picnic lunch on the way then the rest of the afternoon will be spent doing game drives in the plains of the Serengeti until 6 PM when we will check in at Embalakai Camp or Thorntree Camp or similar camp for dinner and overnight. Day 03 | Full day at the Serengeti National Park On this day you can wake up early for a sunrise game drive to try and catch up with the rare nocturnal animal species as well as the early risers amongst the diurnal ones. It is a nice time to see animals within a close distance as most game like to line up at the road sides to escape the morning dew. Day 04 | Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Breakfast at your camp / or lodge then we check out and head out for one more last game drive in the Serengeti as you drive towards Central Serengeti. You will explore the Seronera River Valley rich in wildlife and birdlife or anywhere else in the Serengeti as per your professional safari guide’s guidance. Day 05 | Ngorongoro Crater Breakfast at your lodge you will descend early into the Crater floor for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. The earlier you descend to the Crater floor so you may descend after breakfast or even with a packed breakfast in order to be at the Crater floor as early as you can and better your chances of seeing the rare animals like Black Rhinos with a little luck. Spend the better part of the morning exploring the Ngorongoro Crater until lunch time. Day 06 | Lake Manyara – Transfer to Arusha Area Early morning breakfast (or carry a packed breakfast & lunch) and descend into the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drives will go on until late in the afternoon when you will check in at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge. Day 04 | Full day at Serengeti Early morning game drive is a good option this day to spot the nocturnal species and the diurnal ones as they rise for a new day. During the morning also many animals will easily be spotted by the tracks sides as they escape the morning dew, and the enjoy the songs of the rising birds. Depending on the time that you season that you visit Serengeti you can be lucky to see the herds of the Great Wildebeests Migration (ask our experts for their location). Day 05 | Fly to Zanzibar After breakfast at the camp you will check out and bid farewell the camp staff as you checkout and drive to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Day 01 | Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park The first day of your wildebeests Migration safari in Tanzania and this day you will be picked form your lodge/hotel at Arusha town and drive to Lake Manyara for game drives. Lake Manyara is a nice small park which lush green almost through out the year with a variety of animals to be spotted in the park. Day 02 | Karatu – Northern Serengeti National Park Early breakfast then drive across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enter Serengeti national park through Naabi Hill Gate. We will continue with game drives at in the end less plains of Serengeti until late in the afternoon when we retire to the lodge fr dinner and overnight. Overnight will be at Serengeti Mara Heritage Camp or similar. All meals included. Day 03 | Two more days Northern Serengeti National Park These two days will be spent doing game drives in Northern Serengeti areas including the Lobo area, the Bologonja areas and the Kogatende areas including a visit to the Mara River Banks on the Tanzanian sides to try and see the River crossing of the Wildebeests migration herds accompanied by some zebras and gazelles. During this time also many predators and big cats follow the animals to this area and so it is likely to see some spectacular wildlife actions like hunting. Overnight will be at Serengeti Mara Heritage Camp or similar. All meals included. Day 04 | Cross Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast in the morning we drive back slowly through the Central Serengeti with game viewing on the way until Naabi Hill Gate where we check out of the Serengeti National Park. We will drive then to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. You will have a chance to visit the Olduvai Gorge or Maasai Village (at extra costs) if you wish. Dinner and overnight will be at Rhino Lodge or midrange lodge at Karatu nearby. All meals included Day 05 | Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Back to Arusha Very early morning we drive down the Ngorongoro Crater walls to the Crater floor where we will spend the better part of the day doing game drives in this 8th wonder of the world also referred to as the Eden of Africa. Here we will get the chance to spot the animals that we might have missed at Serengeti and Lake Manyara and with a little luck you can spot the Big 5 of; Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes and Rhinos, in a single day’s game drive. Day 02 | Arusha – Tarangire National Park After breakfast, drive to Tarangire national park  in the afternoon, we will have a game drive where you can see giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland. This park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and September. It is during this period that thousands of animals- wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, and onyx migrate from the dry masai steppe to the Tarangire river in search of water while the predators such as lion, and leopards Day 03 | Tarangire – SerengetiCenter /Serengeti Northern After Breakfast, We proceed to Serengeti National Park passing Ngorongoro. An afternoon game drive at Serengeti follows, home to more than 35 species of plain animals such as zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, among many others.The park is the staging zones for one the most spectacular events in the world- the annual migration of wildebeest. Day 04 | Serengeti Northen Full Day Today we will leave after breakfast for a full day game viewing with picnic lunch box. We will make our way towards the Northern part of the Serengeti National Park. Far from the beaten tourist track, the Northern Serengeti offers the unique opportunity to explore the fantastic Serengeti undisturbed. Day 05 | Serengeti Northrn / Serengeti Center After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The majority of the wildebeest migration normally passes through the Seronera in late November to middle November, when they migrate from Kenya’s Masai Mara in north to the Ndutu area in the south. The migration then passes through this area again in April when they move west to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park. The Seronera area is also an ideal starting to point to visit the eastern and southern short-grass plains of the Serengeti National Park. Day 06 | SerengetiCenter / Ngorongoro Crater Early Morning Game drive, after a breakfast, we will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Day 07 | Ngorongoro Crater After Breakfast, Early morning drive to NgorongoroCrater, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for full day game drive, afternoon ascend to the crater rim, The game drive begins with a 600m descent to the crater floor, a magnificent natural amphitheater.
