Day 01 | Arrival in Arusha Airport You will arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and will be welcomed by Safari Supremacy’s representative who will usher you into a waiting vehicle and transfer you to the Mount Meru Game Lodge around Arusha. The representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the lodge and leave you to relax and have dinner. Dinner included. Day 02 | Lake Manyara National Park On the second day of your tour, you will have breakfast in the morning and leave for Arusha town where you will do some shopping if you wish and also have a chance to change some money to get local currencies which may be useful in the lodges / tented camps, especially for tipping and paying extras. You will then drive to through the Masai steppe, and into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Day 03 | Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park This morning you will wake up rather early. After breakfast, you will take off to the world-famous Serengeti National Park which is also the oldest and biggest of all parks in Tanzania. You will have a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge where Dr. Louise and his wife, Mary Leakey, made tremendous discoveries of human fossils, the Australopithecus Boisei. This discovery led to the theory by scientists that Africa is the cradle of mankind. You will enter Serengeti via Naabi Hill gate. Day 04 | Full day Serengeti National Park Your Tanzania and Zanzibar honeymoon will continue. On this day, you may decide to do an early morning game drive at day break or relax until after breakfast. After all, you are on holiday. Either way, you may decide on going for game drives in the Serengeti plains or watching the Great Migration of the wildebeests. You may choose to carry a lunch box with you or do a morning session of game drives then relax at your lodge / tented camp for the afternoon. A sunset game drive is a nice way to wind up this day. Alternatively, you can go for a walking safari that resides outside the park. You will have your dinner at Tukaone Serengeti Camp where you will stay for the night. All meals included. Day 05 | Ngorongoro Crater In the morning, you will go to the world’s largest caldera that harbors the greatest concentration of animals in a confinement of its 600-meter-deep walls. After breakfast, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will re-enter the conservation Area via Naabi Hill Gate and after some registration formalities at the Descent point, you will go down the breathtaking road to the floor of this world renown ‘world heritage site’ that was declared by UNESCO. Day 06 | Ngorongoro – Arusha After breakfast at the lodge, it is time for you to get a fully paid complimentary massage at the Massage Spa. If you wish to do so, then you will be on your way to Arusha where you will take your flight to the island of Zanzibar. On your arrival, you will be met by the representative who will welcome you to the island and transfer you to the beach hotel. Your dinner will be at the Zanzibar Queen Hotel on the beaches of Zanzibar. Breakfast, Lunch box, Dinner included. Day 07 – 11 | Beach stay at Zanzibar You will spend these days at the beach choosing between the numerous water sports on offer at the resort or just relaxing on the hotel and the beach. Detailed Itinerary Your safari adventure kicks off with thrilling game drives, guided by our expert naturalists, ensuring close encounters with Africa’s majestic wildlife. From the vast savannahs to the lush landscapes, each moment promises awe and excitement. Day 01 | Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park Pick up from your hotel in Arusha around 08.00 Hrs and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park approximately 2 hours’ drive from Arusha town.  Lake Manyara National park is located at the floor of the Great Rift Valley and the park is measures 330 Km Sq of which 220 Km Sq is the water body and 110 Km Sq is the land. Lake Manyara National Park is usually famous for its legendary tree climbing lions, but it is a park that is rich with wildlife and birdlife alike. You expecte to spot a lot of elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, antelope species, and at the lake you expect to see the hippos, and many aquatic birds including gees and the colouful flamingos. You will be visitin with packed lunch which will be served at one of the picnic sites inside Lake Manyarana National Park. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to your lodge at Karatu for dinner and overnight. Accommodation is at  Marera Valley Lodge or Country Lodge or similar. Lunch and dinner included.   Day 02 | Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park After an early morning breakfast you are off to Serengeti National park. Driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will enter the Serengeti via the Naabi Hill gate and go ahead with game viewing en route to the lodge or tented camp. If you are interested; you will have a brief stop at The Olduvai Gorge to witness the excavations of the Leakey’s family who discovered some human fossils of the Australopithecus Boisei, a discovery that led to the belief that indeed first man dwelt in Africa. Your overnight will be at Into Wild Africa Camp or Serengeti Heritage Camp or similar camp in Central Serengeti. All meals included. Camps at Northern Serengeti (near Mara River) can be included for wildebeests migration safari but at a different cost. Day 03 – 04 | Two more days at Serengeti National Park These days are spent at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day. The Serengeti National Park is famous for the wildebeest’s herds and the guide will advise on which areas to explore depending on the time that you will be visiting and the location of the herds. Apart from the wildebeests Serengeti is home for many wild animals and birds. You expect to see many topis, gazelles, zebras, hartebeests, bufallos, elephants, leopards and cheetahs. Serengeti is also home to recorded 500 birds species so abirders haven as well. 02 FB overnight at  at Into Wild Africa Camp or Serengeti Heritage Camp. All meals included. Day 05 | Serengeti – Ngorongoro After breakfast we drive back via the Naabi Hill gate to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival we will descend 600 mts down the Crater wall to the floor of the World’s greatest unbroken Caldera for a wonderful day of game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater is world renowned for the highest concentration of animals and it is here where you get the greatest chance of spotting the Big five in one day. A world biosphere reserve the Crater was declared a world heritage site by the United Nations body UNESCO. Among other animals you will see lions, cheetahs, zebras, warthogs, silver back jackals etc. Later in the afternoon before dark we drive to the Crater rim to check in at Rhino Lodge inside the NCAA or Country Lodge or Marera Valley Lodge at Karatu nearby. All meals included. Day 06 | Tarangire National Park The proceeds starts with a drive to the fifth largest national park in Tanzania which is Tarangire National Park.. With a lunch box carried from Arusha you will have that chance to do game drives the whole day. This day will be spent on the savannah plains in search of wild animals including zebras, elands, impalas, gazelles, and the rare species of Kudus. Large herds of elephants are also one of Tarangire highlights as well as the large baobab trees. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Karatu where you will check in at a lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight will be at the Lake Burunge Tented Lodge or similar. All meals included. Day 07 | Tarangire – Back to Arusha Breakfast at your camp / lodge in Tarangire then you will head out to the plains in the Tarangire National Park for one last game drive (if you wish – time allowing). You will then be transferred to Arusha town where the safari ends. You will be dropped at your hotel or you can be dropped at the Arusha Domestic Airport in case you are doing a combined Tanzania Safari with Zanzibar beach extension. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the Big Five can be spotted during one game drive only. Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or Country Lodge at Karatu or similar. All meals included. Day 03 | Full day at the Serengeti National Park On this day you can wake up early for a sunrise game drive to try and catch up with the rare nocturnal animal species as well as the early risers amongst the diurnal ones. It is a nice time to see animals within a close distance as most game like to line up at the road sides to escape the morning dew. Day 04 | Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Breakfast at your camp / or lodge then we check out and head out for one more last game drive in the Serengeti as you drive towards Central Serengeti. You will explore the Seronera River Valley rich in wildlife and birdlife or anywhere else in the Serengeti as per your professional safari guide’s guidance. Day 05 | Ngorongoro Crater Breakfast at your lodge you will descend early into the Crater floor for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. The earlier you descend to the Crater floor so you may descend after breakfast or even with a packed breakfast in order to be at the Crater floor as early as you can and better your chances of seeing the rare animals like Black Rhinos with a little luck. Spend the better part of the morning exploring the Ngorongoro Crater until lunch time. Lake Manyara is a nice small park which lush green almost through out the year with a variety of animals to be spotted in the park. Day 02 | Karatu – Northern Serengeti National Park Early breakfast then drive across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enter Serengeti national park through Naabi Hill Gate. We will continue with game drives at in the end less plains of Serengeti until late in the afternoon when we retire to the lodge fr dinner and overnight. Overnight will be at Serengeti Mara Heritage Camp or similar. All meals included. Day 03 | Two more days Northern Serengeti National Park These two days will be spent doing game drives in Northern Serengeti areas including the Lobo area, the Bologonja areas and the Kogatende areas including a visit to the Mara River Banks on the Tanzanian sides to try and see the River crossing of the Wildebeests migration herds accompanied by some zebras and gazelles. During this time also many predators and big cats follow the animals to this area and so it is likely to see some spectacular wildlife actions like hunting. Overnight will be at Serengeti Mara Heritage Camp or similar. All meals included. Day 04 | Cross Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast in the morning we drive back slowly through the Central Serengeti with game viewing on the way until Naabi Hill Gate where we check out of the Serengeti National Park. We will drive then to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. You will have a chance to visit the Olduvai Gorge or Maasai Village (at extra costs) if you wish. Dinner and overnight will be at Rhino Lodge or midrange lodge at Karatu nearby. All meals included Day 05 | Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Back to Arusha Very early morning we drive down the Ngorongoro Crater walls to the Crater floor where we will spend the better part of the day doing game drives in this 8th wonder of the world also referred to as the Eden of Africa. Here we will get the chance to spot the animals that we might have missed at Serengeti and Lake Manyara and with a little luck you can spot the Big 5 of; Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes and Rhinos, in a single day’s game drive. Day 04 | Serengeti Northen Full Day Today we will leave after breakfast for a full day game viewing with picnic lunch box. We will make our way towards the Northern part of the Serengeti National Park. Day 05 | Serengeti Northrn / Serengeti Center After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The majority of the wildebeest migration normally passes through the Seronera in late November to middle November, when they migrate from Kenya’s Masai Mara in north to the Ndutu area in the south. The migration then passes through this area again in April when they move west to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park. The Seronera area is also an ideal starting to point to visit the eastern and southern short-grass plains of the Serengeti National Park.
