4 day Fly-in Wildebeest Calving Safari
Wildebeest Calving Season Safari Overview This exclusive 4-day fly-in safari begins and ends in Zanzibar, offering an efficient and memorable way to experience three of Tanzania’s premier Northern Circuit destinations. Fly directly into the heart of the Serengeti and explore the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti, the Southern Serengeti’s Ndutu plains during the peak of the calving season, and the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Between December and March, tens of thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather on the nutrient-rich short-grass plains of the south to give birth.
